T22- Vintage of the 161st year
2021 was a year of extreme weather conditions, with heavy rainfall in the spring and thunderstorms and hail in the summer. Only the best winemakers, who selected the best grapes with the finest rake, were able to find exceptional fruit with great ripening potential. 2021 was also a year in which the old Grand and Premier Crus clearly rose to the top after the chaos of the growing season.

Our 161st vintage Rosé focuses on bringing out the power and generosity of Pinot Noir. This Rosé assemblage was carefully crafted with a beautiful red wine from Verzenay Pinot Noir from 2021. In any year with some climatological setbacks, you either end up disappointed, or you find the most exceptional fruit that has remained vibrant against all odds.
