Every bottle of De Lossy is crafted with care and respect for nature, from the most respectful farming practices of our select growers to the most innovative practices of our talented winemakers.

2021 was a year of extreme weather, with heavy rainfall in the spring and thunderstorms and hail in the summer. Only the best winemakers, selecting the finest grapes with the finest combs, were able to find exceptional fruit with great aging potential. 2021 was also a year in which the old Grand and Premier Crus clearly emerged from the chaos of the growing season.

This was no easy assemblage to create, and our winemaking team produced 25 different blends before selecting Blend Number 6, a result of the Chef de Caves's precise balance between the bright, fresh fruit selected from the 2021 harvest and the complexity of reserve wines dating back to 2013.

Blend: 29% Chardonnay, 36% Pinot Noir, 35% Meunier
